Restorative yoga is the practice of being fully supported by props in relaxation poses that allow for the parasympathetic nervous system to be activited. In Yoga Nidra, you are guided step by step through awareness of body points, breathing, and visualizations of nature. Once we get to true state of relaxation of muscle tension, we can then release subconscious thoughts and emotional patterns that may be causing dis-ease in our lives. This is the blissful sleep of yogis!
